Wonderful Waiteti Three

Image citation
W3, a Year 8 class at Mokoia Intermediate, had their 1st taste of using Twitter in the class room. We joined in a #kidsedchatnz session where 10 questions were posed, and we had to answer them.

These were some of our responses.

A great experience that we will be repeating. You should have a go.

1. What school do you go to?
Mokoia Intermediate.

2. What is something special about your school?
We aren't the biggest school but we are very good at sport.

3. What is something you have enjoyed learning about this year?
Computer coding on Gamefroot.

4. What do you most like about living in Rotorua?
I like the atmosphere with all the friendly people that encourage you to do your best.

5. What do you most like doing on your computers/iPads/devices at school to help your learning?
I like learning about coding and instead of watching and reading we get to try it and make our own games.

6. Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself, your learning, your class or your school?
I really enjoy being a student at Mokoia Intermediate because there are so many activities and opportunities. The morning fitness programme has helped me with my sport so much.

Some of us at our Mandarin option on Wednesdays.

  1. How brilliant to be learning mandarin. I have a student, a year 2 lass, who speaks and learns mandarin. Her parents were born in China, however she was born here. She is a delight and is a treasure. Great to see you all, sharing your journey. Thanks for that and all the best with your studies of mandarin.
